Hello there, I am a Graphic Designer and am currently living in the Raleigh, N.C. area, and have lived here most of my life. I am currently looking for work and dabbling as a freelance designer as I can.

I completed my classwork towards my Bachelor of Science in Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology at Appalachian State as of December 2011 and walked in graduation ceremonies. The only requirement I have remaining is an internship, or a job in my field that I can count as an internship, to complete my degree requirements.

I got my first exposure to graphic design in 1997 when I received the NASCAR Racing 2 video game. The game featured a rudimentary in-game paint shop where the user could design their race cars and then go race them. It wasn't much, but it was enough for me to fall in love with the idea of designing for a living. Then in my sophomore year of high school I got my first copy of Photoshop and future versions of the NASCAR Racing game had Photoshop templates for you to design your cars. I was also lucky enough to work on some small design projects with companies while in high school.

Eventually, I hope to use my design skills to find a job inside the professional sports industry. I also have the hope of being able to pursue my Master's in Business Administration at some point over the next 5 years.

Outside of design, I got married last June to my best friend, Suzanne. I enjoy computers, technology, and gadgets. I can usually be found watching anything sports related on television. My favorites are the St. Louis Cardinals (MLB), Green Bay Packers (NFL), Ottawa Senators (NHL), and Matt Kenseth (NASCAR). I've also recently re-"kindled" (get it?) my enjoyment of reading.
